Komiza is located on the southern edge of Vis island, set at the foot of a spectacular mountain range! Komiza is the nearest town to the island of Bisevo, home to the spectacular natural phenomenon that is the Blue Caves. Stari Grad is steeped in history (the name Stari Grad even translates to ‘Old Town’), and is today an up-and-coming travel destination. You can explore Stari Grad on foot and take in its network of cobblestone streets, small squares and boutique galleries. There is no shortage of bars, cafes and restaurants along the harbourfront to enjoy as the sun goes down, so make sure you secure your sunset viewing spot with a cocktail in hand!

The island is classed as Croatia’s greenest due to it's dense covering of Mediterranean pine forest. The National Park is famous for its two salt lakes in the north end of the island - Veliko and Malo Jezero - as well as the 12th century Benedictine monastery in the middle of Veliko.
