With Sail Croatia it is really for those aged between 18-28. Anyone above 30 and you feel a little out of place. These days everyone is traveling in groups of 2-6. Gone of the days of solo travellers from my recent sail where there was only 4 of us solo travellers. It does make it a little harder to meet people but I guess at the end of the day it really is a luck of the draw. It definitely is a good experience. Just prepare to be oboard with a bucket load of aussies haha

When they tell sail Croatia is one of the best weeks you’ll experience they aren’t lying!! Met the most amazing people, made the most amazing friends and got to experience some amazing scenery! I’m so grateful for our trip leader Ceili was an absolute legend I felt like she was one of us, she was so helpful, took the time to get to know us all and spent most of her time with us! The crew on the boat were incredible, so friendly, helpful, made sure everyone was happy and also joined us for a good time! So grateful and I couldn’t recommend this enough and I’ll be talking about it for years to come!! Big shout out to the crew on TRVDI you bloody legends thank you for giving us the best experience possible!!!

Great way to see the islands and party through Croatia. Katarina our guide was so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was nothing special but our guide and the experiences they provided made up for it,

I was lucky enough to get the best group of people and best crew. But all I can say is that booking the ensuite boat for navigator is definitely all you’ll need for a week. You’ll have more fun on this boat if you’re solo or with one or two mates. If you’re travelling with a bigger group of friends you should think about selecting a nicer boat.

Was very happy with the room, both the bedroom and bathroom were decently sized and had good facilities. The food on the boat was really great, we were never hungry. The crew were kind and hardworking. I wish we could’ve been informed on our swim spots more. The boat would just depart from them without notice so you might miss out or jump in without realising we were about to leave. I think our tour manager could’ve gave us better suggestions on what to do in town. Sail is a great way to travel and I really enjoyed my week!

I had a great time aboard the Afrodita while being a solo traveler. I met tons of friends and shared great memories. The food and on board entertainment were great, but the bar prices were not competitive at all. Drinks were €10-12 and happy hour was only 10% off. Bell ring shots were also €120 at the start of the trip and usually mostly juice unless you were watching the bartender and telling him to pour more alcohol. When comparing with passengers in other boats, their drinks were only €4 (didn't have to pay for mixers) and bell rings on their boat were only €80. If our boat had cheaper drinks, more drinks would have been purchased on board, but our group was considered fairly tame because people didn't end up buying many drinks on board. More money could have been made by this boat on alcohol, but they were stingy with prices and portions and wondered why they didn't make much money. The trip overall was great, but the bar was their biggest downfall.

The easy answer...YES. However a bit differently... I would recommend going in peak season so the weather doesn't interfere with your itinerary. Be prepared to spend more money than you think! The party cruise is 110% partying every single day...your liver definitely gets a run for its money. Overall your group makes the experience. As a solo traveler I still had the best time and made so many friends/memories!!!!!!!

Our Crew Leader Nikola went above and beyond on so many occasions for not only our boat (Big Blue) but for passengers on other boats. There were two times that some of the girls on the other boats were in a distressful situation from locals or other unrelated tourists. He got them back to the boat safely in a seamless and timely manner, His attentiveness to safety for everyone was incredible. The only fault was we had 3 lounge chairs on the top deck of the boat to share between 25.

Our boat itself was fantastic, make sure you book the Gradina. Also a huge shout out to the chef who was fantastic. Our lunches and 2 dinners were delicious. My experience was tainted by the make up of the group, but that is the risk you take with group tours. The activities were the highlight though especially the Mljet national park bike ride.

this trip was amazing! its a well oiled machine, the swim spots, the activities, the nightlife. I'm convinced the only way to see the croatian coast fully is by boat. Im really glad i did the VIP navigator on the salve di mare ship, it was clearly the nicest ship. also the perks were great for the VIP, the food was good, the maid service daily, the ship itself was beautiful. the rooms were even more spacious than expected. i didn't realize this was almost an exclusive aussie trip so that was a surprise, i was expecting people from all over the world. luckily most people were nice and whoever was annoyed by me being american i just kept my distance. i did expect more solo travelers but it was actually a lot of couples. or groups of couple friends. i wish the drinks on the boat were a little cheaper to encourage more mingling on the boat, everyone just seemed to be drinking in their rooms to avoid the prices at the bar.

Sail Croatia was fun in general if you like partying everyday. For me was okish, from their social media I expected it to be a lot of swim stops, but in reality it’s very quick morning stop -some of the days then your stuck in port most of the time. They changed our tour around a little bit so we didn’t get to see stari grad. Food quality for price could have been way better, way too much pork/meat and not much flavor, breakfast wasn’t good so I ended up skipping it everyday.. They activities they offer aren’t the best, I think the zip lining was the best but the buggying was not worth the money. The tour guide we had she was very nice but not super informative, but from other people I spoke to seemed we got very lucky with out staff members as other boats girls were getting harassed and bar tabs wrong. Probably wouldn’t sail again unless it was VIP and different cruise type.

The people on the boat were so likeminded and crew did the absolute most to ensure we had a good week. It would’ve been fantastic to stick to the itinerary a little more, and have more things like sun beds/chairs for the time we were on the boat.

Swimming in beautifully clear water, making friends with a bunch of amazing people and partying in some of the coolest clubs and locations you’ll find in the world. I had a great time doing Sail Croatia but it’s something I’d only do once. Be prepared to be a shell of yourself when you get off the boat. Four stars because our first tour guide got fired half way through (thankfully because he was completely useless) and because he/the boat tried to scam us into paying for the air conditioning even though it was advertised as being included in the price.

I had the best week abroad Penelopa with host Caitlin and while I think there are some improvements that need to be made, I still had an amazing time. Caitlin was such a fun, personable and knowledgeable host who was committed to helping us have the best time possible. The boat could do with some improvements, such as the showering facilities and lack of fans in each below deck room, as this made sleeping rather uncomfortable. We also had some changes to our schedule, outside of Caitlin’s control, that were rather disappointing and left us missing out on activities such as kayaking and buggy ing which were all crowd favourites. All in all I had the most amazing week with such a good groups of people who I now call dear friends!

The team were awesome most of the activities were great. The boat was good value for money. Some of the lunches were a bit bland, a second option would be good too. What a convenient way of getting to see all the amazing islands off the coast of Croatia! The staff work so hard to make sure everyone is having a good time. A little costly for the food you get onboard but other than that no problems. It’s not a luxurious experience so don’t go into it thinking it wasn’t clean, fancy or spacious enough. You’re on a party boat island hopping and it was just that. Would recommend!!

I loved every moment of my week on the Nerezine. I has the best group of people that made me as a solo traveller feel welcomed. The crew were also amazing! I did however feel some of the extra add on were not presented to us, for example the canoeing. There were also some issues below deck in my room that I thought were not up to scratch. These include leaking water from the ceiling, out ensuing door not closing and latching. The toilet was an issue as I couldn't use it properly, but I was able to make do. These issue however did not make my time on the boat bad, for me they are just amenities, the people and places you visit is what matter and makes the trip what it is. As I said before it was one of the best weeks of my life and I have you, Sail Croatia and Ioana and crew to thank for that.

Hello, Great trip with great people. Weather meant weren’t able to do everything but was still great fun. I understand it was the end of the season but I feel Ela could have done a better job of making sure everyone was informed and involved in the week. Communication wasn’t great and I really felt there was a missed opportunity to bring everyone together and create a real family atmosphere. Crew were awesome and worked really hard to ensure we were having a good time. Were a couple of incidence with things going missing and finding loose clothes in the crew cabin. Overall a great experience but feel with a little bit of extra effort it would have gone a long way I’m creating a truly unforgettable experience. Cheers,

First of all, the sail week it’s self was fantastic! Ivana and the entire boat crew went constantly above and beyond to cater and help us with everything we ever needed! I was seriously impressed with their professionalism at all times! Ivana in particular was just the most amazing tour guide I’ve ever had! There were some major issues in errors made with my booking that were only noticed a few months out which really put a damper on the experience. The solutions they came to were satisfactory however the bus they booked me to get to Dubrovnik arrived after the lunch and welcome speech which was really disappointing as I missed the introduction aspect to the first day.

Our tour leader Lamija was amazing. She was so helpful especially when any slight problems arose and we all felt like we could go to her for anything. So lucky to have her for my week on Sail! As for the boat, I'd strongly recommend paying extra for a nicer one. Our boat was not in the best condition. Overall I had a really great week on Sail Croatia!

The crew was not the friendliest or nicest to majority of passengers on the boat. The amount of tips they expect at the end is ridiculous. If they want tips they should provide better service. They need a better variety of food. You aren’t allowed to bring snacks on and they don’t have any on board. The actual sail was the best week of my life. You go to some amazing places and meet some of the best people. I would do it again but i know what to expect next time.

The whole Tuna crew was great! Eoin, Marco and chef Marco really made the trip. Also had a great group sailing as well! I would recommend, however, to bring a freind or two, especially if you do not get your own room. Also recomend doing all the activites!

Great boat, amazing aircon. Daniel our tour guide knew all the good spots and gave great tips. Accommodated to my vegan diet well although I would’ve liked to have seen more for breakfast. My Sail Croatia experience was incredible and I would highly recommend the brand to friends and family. The route was well designed for rest days and nights. During nights out I felt very safe at the bars we were taken to. I was extremely impressed with the size of the room and the en-suite. However, the towel provided was an old beach towel which I believe a previous guest had left on board. As well that bathrooms bins and toilet paper should be regularly maintenance. The breakfast and lunch on board was amazing and the crew made sufficient effort to accomodate peoples needs. The paid BBQ on board was overly priced and didn’t meet myself or other guests expectations.Zac did a wonderful job on his first tour particularly ensuring the group felt safe and was having fun. He made a very conscious effort in making sure the entire group got along. As a solo traveller this was particularly welcoming.He consistently asked for feedback and would action any concerns or issues promptly.

Firstly i have to say i had a great week doing Split to Dubrovnik. The boat we sailed on was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I do have to say how great our waiters were (Alena & Tommy) who brought a lot of fun and laughs however the chef and food could have been improved a lot. I know a lot of people on board were rather dissapointed by this. It would have also been nice to have a small thank you speech or something from our Sail Croatia tour manager instead we got nothing the morning of our departure which was rather odd and a bit disappointing after we spent a week together. We had a group of 40 people and i could not have asked for a better group of people to sail with.. Some people wanted to party every night while others wanted to take it a bit easy however everyone all got along great which was so awesome to see.

The islands we visited were spectacular and the free, led by Ivan the skipper and Steve the head tour guide, were fantastic and were able to assist with any issues. Overall I had a great time and would highly recommend this as a great way to see Croatia from the water.

The cruise was fun, met some great new people. My only complaint would be the food. As a vegetarian the food on the boat was not good. The first day was alright but on the 2nd night I recurved a plate of half boiled vegetables that had been covered in oil. Being hungry made enjoying the cruise to its full potential difficult. The boat team did their best to rectify after a complaint was made. However, it should have been thought about prior, in an age were there are quite a few vegetarians and making vegetarian food is not difficult a menu that is appropriate should be considered Other than that the staff were lovely the rooms were average the parties were fun, Croatia is gorgeous. Would definitely go back!
