Our cruise was very relaxing with the right balance of activities and interaction with other guests. We really loved the swim stops each day and the meals were of premium quality and presentation. There was plenty of space on the boat, Esperanza, to feel like you could have some privacy and then interact when we wanted to. We would recommend the cruise and we had a great time., the crew was very helpful and friendly.
- Fiona, 26/10/2024 02:01, Travelled in a Couple
The guide, Anita, was excellent. Charming, efficient and most helpful. It was a joy to have such service. I cannot recommend her too much. The crew were very helpful. Food not so good- too much overcooked meat, just one fish dish in 7 days.. Good bar service. Most enjoyable party after the captain',s dinner- lots of dancing ! I did not engage in excursions, as too strenuous for my age.. Others enjoyed them.. Cabin fine and very efficient and pleasant cleaner.

Our Tour Manager, and a professional crew The Group of wonderful people ( now friends) Croatia experience first time. Excellent planned Wine Cruise., very comfortable ship (Jelena) Reducing the rating from 5* to 4* only because the wine tastings fell short of my expectations.
- Catherine, 22/10/2024 10:02, Travelled with Family
The trip was great for my restricted mobility. The railings on all walkways and stairwells made walking around the ship possible. The crew were always available to offer a helping hand or arm. One of the sailors - Mario - was exceptionally thoughtful. He carried my mobility scooter on and off the boat, storing and charging it overnight. He was sensitive to my fears, crossing from boat to boat, offering encouragement and praise, as well as physical help. Wonderful intuitive personal skills!
- Alison, 21/10/2024 05:43, Travelled with Family
- manager and staff on the boat were fabulous- Friendly and helpful. Always available. - Bike tour guide- fun, patient and helpful. - location of the tour was great.

Once on board the very comfortable boat, we were well looked after by delightful guides, good chefs, bar staff and boat crew. Good quality e-bikes, excellent guiding around five beautiful Croatian islands, the crew having to adjust the itinerary due to the weather conditions. The other passengers were similar ages to us, loved cycling and the exploring of new places so there were plenty of common interests.
- Jeni, 14/10/2024 18:07, Travelled in a Couple
Loved the week on the ship. Met some great people. Mostly from Australia, UK and USA. Particularly enjoyed the swim stops. Great food too. Be aware though that the ship docks late afternoon in each location so some of the advertised shore excursions will not happen. We found this disappointing and would recommend Sail Croatia only promote those excursions that have a realistic chance of going ahead.
- Rhys, 09/10/2024 09:12, Travelled in a Couple
Great crew all round. Extremely professional and courteous. Very high standards of comfort and cleanliness. Very professional Tour guide , perfect touch and interaction with all passengers. Only complaint is breakfast is too early to close at 9.00am, also it was a direct shut down at that time. Even at 9.o5 am the coffee and tea was closed, leaving the only option was to purchase. Tea and coffee. That station should be available all day subject to cruising condition.
- Graham, 08/10/2024 09:07, Travelled in a Couple
Beautiful Croatian coast and a good crew
- Tony, 07/10/2024 12:52, Travelled in a Couple
Loved the combination of seeing the islands by land and sea. The biking through the country side on each island was beautiful and so much fun, loved our e-bikes. We had amazing tour guides and boat crew! Unfortunately we had a couple of days of bad weather, but the crew and guides were quick to adjust our course and itinerary to avoid this as best they could and everything turned out great. Thank you! Highly recommend!

This was a spectacular sailing experience. Our captain sailed the boat to wonderful swim spots and our cruise director Klara was charming, fun, and very energetic with interesting information of each Croatian Island we visited. The bar and food servers did a prompt, friendly, and outstanding job! And the cooks(Chefs)presented beautiful and delicious dishes! This experience was amazing. The only thing I would recommend is that we get an earlier email on what to bring and that it was a CASH only for your drinks and tips at the end of trip. A lot of people travel ahead of the sailing trip and don’t check on their emails. That info would have been better to know if it had been received at least 4 weeks before actual cruise date.

What a beautiful country to explore. The boat and the crew was excellent. Massive thank you to our wonderful tour guide Klara, her knowledge and laughter all week was amazing…..she needs a pay raise 😂👍.

It's ok
- Navi, 30/09/2024 05:10, Travelled Solo
The Croatian islands are so beautiful to see when biking. The EOS ship was not as nice as other pictures on the website. The staff were all pleasant. Vegetarian options were limited. Despite rain, the staff worked very hard to reroute us and gave us a wonderful experience.

The lovely people we met on our boat. Wonderful staff looked after us. The ports were great.
- Susan, 27/09/2024 00:59, Travelled in a Couple
We had a great group of passengers that made it a really inclusive, friendly and fun first cruise.
- Paddy, 26/09/2024 14:17, Travelled in a Couple
The Guides were great. friendly, helpful, knowledgable. The islands were stunning. However, the boat was only standard. The food was quite basic. The cabin was very cramped, the bathroom smelled bad and the bed sheets were a problem. Two single sheets on a double bed! We were in a tangle all night. A double sheet or duvet would have been much better.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on our Cycle Croatia cruise and for your 4-Star score. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the stunning beauty of the islands and found our guides to be friendly, knowledgeable, and a highlight of your trip. Our team always strives to create an exceptional experience for our guests, and it’s wonderful to know they made a positive impression. We appreciate your candid feedback regarding the accommodation, particularly the cabin size and the issue with the bed linens. Cabins on our Premier ships are cozy and functional and range in size from 6 to 8m2. We have our 'ship types' displayed via our website so guests can view images and details about each ship category. This gives indepth information of the amenities to ensure that our advertising accurately represents the accommodations provided. We highly recommend checking this prior to booking your cabin to avoid disappointment. For more spacious cabins, we recommend checking our Premier Plus ships. Our representatives are always very happy to help resolve any issues that arise and had you asked them for another set of sheets more suitable, they would have been very happy to arrange these. I have checked with the Captain and Crew and the weather was very unfortunate during your week onboard with us. At times if there is bad weather, smell can occur in the bathroom emitting from the shower drains. This is due to the movement of the ships on the water whereby this movement opens up airflow at the back of the pipe and into the bathroom. This is addressed in the Welcome Speech by the Sail Croatia Representative on board. Thanks again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you on board again in the future.
Nice way to travel round Croatia to get to see islands Crew on ship very nice Organisation good Food plentyful Group were Nice like minded

My partner and I had a great week on Sail Croatia thanks to Lauren, Mateo and the other crew members. The weather was average but Lauren went above and beyond to maintain morale and organise alternative activities. The crew were very easy-going and friendly and we enjoyed learning about Croatia from them. Our only suggestion is to Sail Croatia directly - we think the itinerary could be improved. The Sail Croatia website states the white water rafting is available on the Split to Dubrovnik tour (which was not the case). We also would have appreciated more time exploring the towns as opposed to spending hours at swim spots.
- Maya, 24/09/2024 10:22, Travelled in a Couple
Mia our boat coordinator made sure we had the best experience. Very relaxing way to cruise around the islands.
- Rachel , 24/09/2024 06:56, Travelled in a Couple
Anton and Karla our cruise / bike leaders did well with the large group of cyclists that were on-board the Princez Diana. Delaying a couple of rides due to weather and adding an additional ride for the island that we missed due to the weather. However, some of the riders did not like the fact that the additional 20km added for this additional ride were not given the option of missing it as it was stated before the start of the ride the group was told the additional ride would be optional. The kitchen staff were outstanding with excellent choices made for B / L and Dinners that we were given on the boat. I would've appreciated coffee included with lunch or dinner though not just breakfast. As for the room (Cabin #5) it was adequate as we did not have a working safe - staff said someone would fix it but that was never done. The venting in the bathroom was not good and the annoying relay pump sound was pretty bad when anyone was using water on the boat. I would recommend the cruise.
- David, 23/09/2024 14:42, Travelled in a Couple
Cycling was great, tour guides very knowledgeable of the area.

With Sail Croatia it is really for those aged between 18-28. Anyone above 30 and you feel a little out of place. These days everyone is traveling in groups of 2-6. Gone of the days of solo travellers from my recent sail where there was only 4 of us solo travellers. It does make it a little harder to meet people but I guess at the end of the day it really is a luck of the draw. It definitely is a good experience. Just prepare to be oboard with a bucket load of aussies haha
- dan, 19/09/2024 23:05, Travelled Solo
We reserved a few years ago but then the COVID Pandemic landed. We had to cancel and Sail Croatia were so great to deal with. A full refund no hassle. We rebooked six months ago and just returned home. We were on the ESperanza Dubrovnik return. Boarding was easy. We met with Mia the cruise director. Such a lovely warm kind person. She was so organised . We got great information and recommendations where to go when ashore. The food was very good . Anna and Antonio were our servers and bar tenders. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The weather was not the best but the captain and the sailors had to rearrange the itinerary to avoid the rough seas at times. We felt safe at all times and managed swim stops in secluded bays every day. Overall we loved it. We made new friends who we will keep in contact with. Two small areas that could improve. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great so I'm told. Also the ladders for getting back onboard after swimming need to be longer. Excellent.
- John Philip Collins , 19/09/2024 18:40, Travelled in a Couple
Great staff. Made friends with other passengers. Meals on board were great. Beautiful scenery. The boat was expertly steered through storms. Not so good - tour of Vis, Verdan sold it to us as a scenic tour. I didn't expect most of it to be going through military bunkers. I wanted to see the island, not the inside of some old military thing. Dinner at Korcula was not good or tour of Korcula - that woman was painful in her terrible attempts to be humorous.
- Judith, 17/09/2024 18:06, Travelled in a Couple
The experience of being on the boat, swim spots, and visiting the different islands was great. For those looking for a more adventurous trip might want something different as this has a lot of downtime. Great intro to life on a boat!
- S B, 17/09/2024 13:48, Travelled Solo
Captain very good at choosing swim locations and avoiding some inclement weather. Food/drinks/service & guides all good and great choice of ports of call. Engines noisy with downstairs cabins at back of boat.
- Anonymous, 17/09/2024 07:55, Travelled in a Couple
No snacks and coffee service only a few hours a day? Also couldn’t get a beverage while band was playing? Boat lost revenue during entertainment because couldn’t access the bar

The mix of people (staff and passengers) was great.

Cheap! Great value and really like close to shore docking. Excellent staff, very friendly, helpful with suggestions, and knowledgeable. Rough edges: Broken stuff, no food choice at lunch.

We had a great time, all 28 people from all over the world, got on fantastically well. The bikes were of a good quality and everyone managed to get on really well with the e-bike I would have liked some longer rides, the longest ride was only about 50 kms, I would have liked to do this every day. The sail Croatia jersey, should be free to all and a day set aside when everyone wears it. I was the only person that bought a jersey and it certainly was not worth the £50 paid. We only swam off the boat twice and this was something we were looking forward to, This trip is not cheap and I realise we had one of the better boats, but with payment of food when off the boat and more expensive drinks when on the boat, our limit of spending was soon exceeded, to be then expected to pay for tips and what was an expensive payment was above what we could afford. The crew should not have to rely on tips and should be covered on the initial spend. I would be happy to talk more if requested.
- Martyn, 09/09/2024 07:39, Travelled in a Couple
Thoroughly enjoyed cruising the Croatian islands on our Dubrovnik to Split and return to Dubrovnik tour. Each port we stopped at represented a lesson in history. Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Split and Dubrovnik with the local guides as well as the fabulous dinner with wine in Stari Grad at a local farm restaurant. Our morning swimming stops were a pleasure and the food served on the boat was divine. But there were negatives: 1. Our lower level cabins were adjacent to the engine room therefore when the boat left port early in the morning, no further sleep or talking could be had. These cabins were priced the same as the forward lower level cabins which seems unfair. 2. No itemised bar bills were provided so you had to assume that what you were billed for, you actually drank. 3. The boats internet was rubbish. 4. When rafted up at port with other boats, crossing over was difficult at times due to the height of each boat I.e. need individual ramps and not step up or down.
- Rosalie, 05/09/2024 14:17, Travelled with Family
Dear Rosalie, Thank you for your detailed review and for sharing both the highlights and suggestions on both of your tours. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the historical walking tours, the fabulous dinner in Stari Grad, and the divine food onboard, as well as the beautiful morning swim stops in lovely secluded bays. We regret to hear that there were some aspects that had an impact on your overall cruise experience. Regarding the noise from the engines, as our ships are small motor cruisers, the engines do make some unavoidable noise when in operation, similar to a running car. We understand this may affect travelers differently, but it is part of the small ship experience. We are pleased to advise that we received a total customer score rating of 4.4/5 for your week onboard. Regarding the bar bill, guests are welcome to request an itemised bill each day to track their consumption. The Wi-Fi can be temperamental as it is subject to download limits and can experience reduced coverage while out at sea. The ramps between boats are designed for ease of movement, but due to the unique designs of each vessel, some variations in height are expected - we appreciate your suggestion of individual ramps. We thank you again for all your feedback and hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.
Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend! A few suggestions/tips: - We realize that it’s challenging to prepare food on a boat and to meet different preferences. We would suggest having at least some lunch buffets, where people could choose (e.g., salads, sandwiches) instead of 3-course meals. A buffet would be quicker and enable people to sit on the desk rather than the often very hot and stuffy dining room. - The food was often very heavy (fried meats, limited vegetables/salads). If guests were warned about this, they could request vegetarian or other accommodations. - We were not allowed to bring food on board so snacks should be available (free or not). There was fruit but nothing else and often we were unable to leave the boat. We were often quite hungry after the ride but had to wait to eat. - It would be helpful if the trip leader provided information about the towns further in advance than the afternoon that we arrived so there would be enough time to plan.

Well it wasn’t Great, the crew were bored
- Brian, 03/09/2024 06:56, Travelled in a Couple
Tonka and Loana were great cruise leaders . They and the rest of the crew were very friendly and always available to answer questions and /or help in any way. They were also very flexible with regard to on-boat activities . The swim stops were beautiful and safe. The boat was steady .It was a wonderful way to explore the small islands along the Croatian coast. It was great that the bar was open to the wee hours. However, a more diverse cocktail menu is suggested. The wines were great. There were a few snags on the boat. E.g. intermittent unpleasant sulphur-like oder in the cabin. The cabin could use brighter lighting , especially in the bathroom. Also, I would suggest washable flooring in the cabins to make them less prone to mildew. The Sail Croatia experience was spectacular! I would do it again.

When they tell sail Croatia is one of the best weeks you’ll experience they aren’t lying!! Met the most amazing people, made the most amazing friends and got to experience some amazing scenery! Though awesome, a few notes…. -the ac in our room never cooled properly -noting or discussing that though breakfast & lunch are included it’s not forced to participate when we had docked at port early. we loved the lunches, but felt like if we didn’t attend, we would miss out on information -the crew and ivanna were very kind hosts

The people - other travellers and the crew - are the highlight of this trip. Recommend for those who want to experience Croatia with new friends 😎

We had a nice trip on kingfisher. Our captain and hostess were nice and helpful on making our trip enjoyable. Thank you for a fun trip. A few recommendations yo improve the experience: 1. Please tell the guests to bring more cash for mooring fees and dinners. 2. It would be nice to spend the last night on an island vs split. You can just move check out to 10 am and that would really be a nice way to end the trip. 3. The 42 Lagoon catamaran only has 3 cabins if you use a skipper so that is an important description item as the skipper takes one of the cabins. When they sold us the catamaran they sold it to us as if it could sleep 8 people which is incorrect. It can only sleep 6 guests with a skipper.
- Jean , 22/08/2024 16:52, Travelled with Family
Dear Jean, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience on Kingfisher. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip and found the skipper and hostess helpful. We appreciate your recommendations and we agree that bringing extra cash is a good idea for mooring fees and dining, so that guests can prepare accordingly - we also outline this in our Pre-departure information provided. While we understand the desire to spend the last night on an island, late check-out is not possible due to the extensive safety checks and cleaning required before the next departure. Our website correctly states that this vessel has 4 cabins that can accommodate 8 guests. It's common in the sailing industry, particularly in Croatia, for the crew to use the salon area as a double bed if all cabins are occupied by guests. Thank you again for your valuable input, and we hope to welcome you on board again in the future.
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent exercise to work off the meals! Our guides were super, well organized, and very hospitable. Met people from all over the world. Comfortable ship, Well organized itinerary. Enjoyed the swimming, particularly on hot August days! One thing to note is that it was not clear on the website nor from the saleswoman with whom we corresponded if the "total ascent/descent" for a day is combined ascent & descent or the amount one ascends and additionally descends. It is the amount one ascends and then descends as well. For example if a day's total ascend/descend is 640 meters (as ours was listed on Day 3), that means you will climb a total of 640m and then descend a total of 640m.

I would have given this experience a 5* as almost everything was perfect with the exception of a few things. Beach towel for one person for the entire week is not acceptable. Changing of the bath towels every few days is also not acceptable. Breakfast time should be longer. Everything else was great !
- Cristina, 20/08/2024 17:31, Travelled with Family
The staff were all impressively friendly , helpful, knowledgeable , accommodating and extremely hard working.. The communication regarding daily rides, activities were impressive and able to be flexible when needed The other guests made the trip exceptional sharing the boat and bike rides but life experiences and stories. We are confident we made friends from around the world that we will maintain and see in the future

Great people, amazing places and relaxed pace. Accommodating of dietary requirements. Need better beds and pillows. Noisy airconditioner and noise from boats alongside at night.
