With Sail Croatia it is really for those aged between 18-28. Anyone above 30 and you feel a little out of place. These days everyone is traveling in groups of 2-6. Gone of the days of solo travellers from my recent sail where there was only 4 of us solo travellers. It does make it a little harder to meet people but I guess at the end of the day it really is a luck of the draw. It definitely is a good experience. Just prepare to be oboard with a bucket load of aussies haha

The tour guide needs to be more involved with the people on the boat. I understand that they might have been doing this for weeks already but the guide is the person who drives the moral on the ship, if they don’t want to get involved and leave it up to the group to make our own experience that is poor. Lucky the group of people I went on with was amazing and that alone is what made my trip. Certain experiences were cancelled months before we went on the boat and had no prior warning to these cancelations which for me were the only reasons why I signed up for sail Croatia. If Sail Croatia had known about the issues on Hvaar and Markaska then months before the boat had set sail an email should have been sent out to people and offered refunds for trips. It borderlines on a scam that people were sold an idea that was never going to be delivered.

Our boat was a huge let down, we were told when we booked that we would be on a boat with more people than we actually had, we were also shown photos of a boat that was MUCH nicer than the one we were put on. We had no deck chairs/loungers on the top of ours so there wasn’t a space to fully relax an unwind. Almost zero shade on top as well so the only place to lay and relax was in bed which was uncomfortable as well. One shower for 24 people (plus crew), and you had to hold the shower head as it had nothing to mount to. The bed wasn’t big enough for me to lay in so every night while sleeping I had to scrunch my body up, it was also extremely hot below deck while trying to sleep this made it more difficult to get a good nights sleep. Overall it was a let down, if I were to do it again I would want to go on a boat that should actually be in operation, unlike the mala Kate which is what we were on. If it weren’t for the great people I was with then it wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I was lucky enough to get the best group of people and best crew. But all I can say is that booking the ensuite boat for navigator is definitely all you’ll need for a week. You’ll have more fun on this boat if you’re solo or with one or two mates. If you’re travelling with a bigger group of friends you should think about selecting a nicer boat.

I had a great time aboard the Afrodita while being a solo traveler. I met tons of friends and shared great memories. The food and on board entertainment were great, but the bar prices were not competitive at all. Drinks were €10-12 and happy hour was only 10% off. Bell ring shots were also €120 at the start of the trip and usually mostly juice unless you were watching the bartender and telling him to pour more alcohol. When comparing with passengers in other boats, their drinks were only €4 (didn't have to pay for mixers) and bell rings on their boat were only €80. If our boat had cheaper drinks, more drinks would have been purchased on board, but our group was considered fairly tame because people didn't end up buying many drinks on board. More money could have been made by this boat on alcohol, but they were stingy with prices and portions and wondered why they didn't make much money. The trip overall was great, but the bar was their biggest downfall.

The crew on board couldn’t have been any better they were honestly the nicest hardest workers you will meet always smiling and helping out in any way they could. The food was 5/5 amazing as well at the itinerary of the week with stops and swim spots. Only feedback would be the variety of drinks at the bar were not as advertised on the website and didn’t have the variety to suit some people we were with.

Our guide Anita did an amazing job and displayed a lot of care and made sure that everyone was comfortable and were having a good time. Anton and his crew were extremely welcoming towards us. The itinerary was well thought out and locations were unreal.

Our Crew Leader Nikola went above and beyond on so many occasions for not only our boat (Big Blue) but for passengers on other boats. There were two times that some of the girls on the other boats were in a distressful situation from locals or other unrelated tourists. He got them back to the boat safely in a seamless and timely manner, His attentiveness to safety for everyone was incredible. The only fault was we had 3 lounge chairs on the top deck of the boat to share between 25.

Different crew, more organisation, better food and to actually go to the planned destinations. Not be lied to by the captain and made to pay for the bbq when told there is no restaurants and then when we arrive at the destination there were a lot of restaurants. Drink prices are too high as well. Cleaner rooms and the air cons need to be cleaned out

Had a great week on Sail on the boat Afrodita! Great way to see beautiful parts of Croatia and meet people from all walks of life. The crew and tour manager were all excellent. The bar tab method could be improved significantly and at least one room clean should be provided during this period. Would definitely recommend but some room for improvement.

We were travelling with 7 friends on a boat of 30. The crew and staff were wonderful and the itinerary was amazing. If you plan on spending a relaxing 7 days this Sail isn’t for you, it’s a more of a 7 day bender with no let up. Our fellow sail mates were great fun and people on other boats also made the trip one to remember. However, the rooms and bathrooms were tiny, the free breakfast is irrelevant as no one is ever awake for it and the lunches were what I would describe as a 3rd world counties school camp. I would definitely recommend trying a KJU while you’re in Croatia!

Swimming in beautifully clear water, making friends with a bunch of amazing people and partying in some of the coolest clubs and locations you’ll find in the world. I had a great time doing Sail Croatia but it’s something I’d only do once. Be prepared to be a shell of yourself when you get off the boat. Four stars because our first tour guide got fired half way through (thankfully because he was completely useless) and because he/the boat tried to scam us into paying for the air conditioning even though it was advertised as being included in the price.

More communication between the crew. We didn’t do what was on the itinerary because the captain said the weather was too bad to go to hvar but there was 2 sail Croatia boats docked there. There was a couple swim spots there were just not ideal. One in the middle of a harbour with the current moving so fast.

I enjoyed the Sail Croatia experience, however, do feel that it can be very much luck of the draw when it comes to other boat personnel, which is such a crucial aspect of the week. When there are multiple large groups on each vessel, it can be hard to really get groups interacting all together, especially for solos. The other issue can be around age disparity. Perhaps more transparency over the booking arrangements of each boat could help this.

The bar service needs changing, I was charged for drinks that I know I didnt not consume. There were extra soft drinks and cocktails on my bill that I simply never ordered. The bar staff refused to returnn my passport unless I paid the bill, and could not explain these extra drinks which totalled to an extra 100 euro than what I actually ordered. Dissapointing way to end a fun week.

We still had fun on this trip because of the people we met and places we went, but there were a lot of let downs. We sailed on a premier ship and paid extra for the accommodations. In Sail Croatia's mind, this meant we should pay more for everything. Our drinks were 75% more expensive then the other sail croatia boat and the crew squeezed us for money. Designated dinners were to expensive, poor quality restaurants with commish going to the guide. Guide said there was no way to get food in Mljet for under $25 and pushed everyone to pay $25 to eat on the boat (Food in Mljet was $10). Crew was not aware of the upcoming excursion details and refused to provide any day plans until 10am the day of so everyone would be on the ship longer. Guide left me on the side of a road to wait for an excursion van for 20 min because the ship was leaving early. Cruise was for 7 nights, but the last day had no activities or places planned and guide/crew just docked and left us. Rooms were constantly wet.

Had an awesome time, our boat crew and tour rep were incredible! They took really good care of us and helped us navigate the terrible weather we had for the first 4 days of Sail. Would honestly do it again it was so much fun, the group we had was amazing. I just wouldn't do it in May so the weather would be better. We could only do 3 out of 12 of our optional activities because of weather and a lot of bars/clubs were closed still. Our crew definately made sure to look out for us though and make sure our time was still fun #ClubCorridor

Was a good mix of people on our boat and had a great time. Food was good and plenty of it. The only downfall would be all the extra costs that I incurred. Was very expensive to eat and drink off board and the extra costs onboard you don’t hear about (unless your into reading the fine print). You have to pay for AC, port taxes, etc. would recommend to a friend but letting them know you will need to be prepared to spend.

I loved every moment of my week on the Nerezine. I has the best group of people that made me as a solo traveller feel welcomed. The crew were also amazing! I did however feel some of the extra add on were not presented to us, for example the canoeing. There were also some issues below deck in my room that I thought were not up to scratch. These include leaking water from the ceiling, out ensuing door not closing and latching. The toilet was an issue as I couldn't use it properly, but I was able to make do. These issue however did not make my time on the boat bad, for me they are just amenities, the people and places you visit is what matter and makes the trip what it is. As I said before it was one of the best weeks of my life and I have you, Sail Croatia and Ioana and crew to thank for that.

From the moment we stepped on the Salve Di Mare it's fair to say we were very excited on what was to come. The boat was beautiful, clean and the rooms were air-conditioned and classy. Staff were incredibly friendly, led by our guide Julie who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire trip (not to mention great fun)! Food was incredible on the boat, a highlight being dessert for lunch! We had such a good crew with us and everyone was there to soak up the beautiful sun, swim in the crystal clear waters and have a good time. Small feedback would be that the pricier upper deck rooms were smaller than the cheaper rooms below. Needed a bit more time on the islands especially when we didn't go out to party the night before. However, from the moment we took off, we knew we had made the right choice sailing with Sail Croatia. If you have any hesitation, just book with the Salve Di Mare you will not regret it.

The boat we booked wasnt the same as the online pictures, Every activity we did had a cost, my mates room had no sheets or blankets or towls and took them four days of asking repeatedly to get them. our host knew very little about anything and put in no effort what soever to help us out when we had questions or needed advice

Great trip. I thought I would love drinking every day but I got tired of it quickly and only wanted to focus on the exploration. If you’re looking to party constantly this is a great trip, otherwise if you want to explore just stick to hostels and travel

Hello, Great trip with great people. Weather meant weren’t able to do everything but was still great fun. I understand it was the end of the season but I feel Ela could have done a better job of making sure everyone was informed and involved in the week. Communication wasn’t great and I really felt there was a missed opportunity to bring everyone together and create a real family atmosphere. Crew were awesome and worked really hard to ensure we were having a good time. Were a couple of incidence with things going missing and finding loose clothes in the crew cabin. Overall a great experience but feel with a little bit of extra effort it would have gone a long way I’m creating a truly unforgettable experience. Cheers,

Group leader Tea was great- quite fun and informative on each place we stopped at whilst also making the effort to mingle with us and make our trip the best possible. Only downside was my lower deck cabin among with other people’s being very hot at night and the fan didn’t work with also not much ventilation down there but other then that I would recommend the sail to others.

Our lower level standard room (room 14) seemed to be the smallest on the boat which was the only negative of our trip. Luckily we had an amazing crew and fellow guests which made up for it!!

The boat crew and tour lead made this an enjoyable week long party. It would have been nicer to maybe have more time in each spot, however that is a benefit of hindsight. Rooms are as you expect however the en-suites leave room for improvement. The common bathroom and shower areas are sufficient. Croatia really turned on the sun for us with great weather the whole trip.

Pros: Met plenty of great people on our boat, swim stops in beautiful locations, scenic locations visited and clubs on offer for the north route. Cons: Expensive (Bar prices very expensive comparative to on land options considering you would rather sit on the boat and drink, maybe some more happy hour specials on popular drinking options not just the already expensive options.) (Excursion prices outrageous especially in comparison to the prices offered by other tour agencies on land.)

The whole Tuna crew was great! Eoin, Marco and chef Marco really made the trip. Also had a great group sailing as well! I would recommend, however, to bring a freind or two, especially if you do not get your own room. Also recomend doing all the activites!
