It really depends on the group & crew that makes the trip. The bartender on the boat wasn't the most pleasant and the chef was horrible. I knew going on the boat that the food was not going to be the best but it was horrible. Also, I didn't like how we didn't have to much free time and the swim spots were okay, nothing great either. Overall, the trip was okay.

Sail Croatia really let me down with my experience by not mixing the people on our boat. Out of 30 people there were 29 women (13 of which were one big group that were not very interested in socialising outside of their group) the one male was a partner of the only couple on the boat. I believe variety in people would have most definitely improved everyone's experience. While our tour manager was absolutely lovely and kind I was disappointed with their lack of knowledge of Croatia in general. Unfortunately their inexperience showed when they struggled to comand respect and order when addressing the group. This showed when organising activities or even getting people excited meet up to learn about our beautiful scenic stops. The crew onboard were so lovely and accommodating. The food was great. After stopping at a few ports and seeing the variety in types of Sail Croatia Boats I was also disappointed that when booking I was not given options to upgrade to a boat with better facilities.

I would’ve liked more opportunity on land to explore the islands, especially when we were docked at a port that was not in the town. Or the opportunity to get a water taxi in to explore i.e. Stari Grad.

You don’t have enough characters to accurately describe my disappointment. My partner has a deadly allergy to peanuts and this was not taken seriously by the crew or comply. Was served a meal with peanuts in it and after only a small bite had an immediate reaction. Upon medicating herself other guest sort her out to ask her if her if she had eaten the meal since they could taste and see peanut chunks. The chef lied and said no nuts only to confirm to myself and another guest that the stuff that was in peanut was in the meal but he “only put a little bit in” so thought it would be okay. After being informed my partner could have died then changed his story again to say there was no nuts. This company did not follow any precautions to make sure the safety of my girlfriend’s life and then has gone on to say she is at fault and can not blame them since she didn’t need the hospital. We had an ED nurse on board and multiple epipens so we were able to assess and monitor the situation ourselfs

While we take every precaution to reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination, due to the nature of the small kitchens onboard our ships, we cannot guarantee a completely nut-free environment. As outlined in our terms and conditions, all special requests must be advised in writing at the time of booking. We received your request the day before departure. Although we strive to pass on any reasonable requests to the relevant supplier, we cannot guarantee that every request will be met unless specifically confirmed. It is essential to obtain written confirmation that a special request will be complied with, especially where it is crucial for your safety. We have been in contact with the appropriate parties, including the Operations Team, Captain, Crew, and the Onboard Representative. We can confirm that peanuts are not a standard ingredient in burritos. Additionally, there were no nuts intentionally added to the meal. While we strive to ensure the safety of our guests, it is standard practice that individuals with severe nut allergies carry their medication with them. We appreciate that your partner had the necessary precautions in place and are relieved to hear there was no allergic reaction. Given that there was no allergic reaction, we regret that we cannot offer a refund for something that could have happened. We appreciate you raising this matter and providing us with feedback, as it is only through feedback like yours that we can continue to improve our services.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves sailing through the open water and swimming in the most beautiful spots. The boat was charming and the cabins (and en-suite) were clean and spacious enough. We went on numerous excursions (top 3 - canyoning, wine tasting and bike ride) but thought most were overpriced (€20-80) and could have gotten cheaper local deals. Additionally, there were a number of unexpected and unavoidable transfers, taxis/buses to pay for (€6-10 each). Meals on board were tasty, except if you were vegetarian (don’t expect any variety). The crew was polite, yet did not engage with us. The owner, Marjan warmly welcomed us on his ship, made the best pina-coladas & was a sniper at beer pong. Our rep Luiis was the friendliest and funniest guide who made sure we enjoyed ourselves every step of the way. He excels at relating to people and trying to meet guest expectations. Would sail with Marijan and Luiis again, but not convinced of the benefit of the Sail Croatia brand.

I had friends who previously did sail Croatia and told me about all these amazing parties and events . When I got on board and asked my host about these she informed me that the Cave Party in Makasaka wasn’t open and wouldn’t be happening (this was one of the reasons I booked with this company) there was no communication from the company prior to our trip to inform us of this. Even though they knew it wasn’t open as it was start of season. There also was no theme night on board the ship which we were under the impression there would be since it is quite commonly posted on social media amongst participants. We didn’t know anything that was happening until the day of which was stressful and made taking money out become a daily task. I do not like the fact that everything had to be in cash and there was all these extra hidden charges on excursions that were not explained before we left! Overall pretty disappointed in the sail Croatia company. Enjoyed my time but wasn’t as much fun.

I felt like it was almost expected of us to drink every single night, which led to many of us feeling sick and terrible by the end of the week and not actually enjoying the beautiful places we stopped at. I wish there were more non-drinking activities so we could’ve gotten to know everyone better. Sometimes it felt like you couldn’t participate unless you were drinking. Our boat was also definitely one of the cheapest models. If I had a little more detail about what exactly each boat entailed I probably would’ve booked the next level up. That being said, the crew was fantastic and our guide was great.

Had a good time on sail and enjoyed my time sailing through Croatia. Had a great group on board and an amazing sail crew on the boat. However, we got unlucky with wind and rain while sailing which limited swimming and excursions. Also got unlucky with a tour guide who showed little interest in making it a good time on the boat. He had no sense of fun and poor organisation and communication of daily activities. In my time travelling through Europe being on several short and long tours, he was the most disappointing tour guide I’ve ever had. Overall, I was very thankful to have a great group of other travellers on board who were keen to have fun and make best of an average situation.

being able to get new clean towels for showering would of been good as the rooms and bathrooms get so disgusting especially since there are no curtains on the showers so water gets everywhere. i didn’t expect the drinks to be as expensive as they were. the crew was great regardless of these factors.

Im just curious where my $1700AUD actually went. I understand maintenance, docking, wages etc of the ship is probably more than I anticipate. But the rooms were tiny, no space for luggage. Food was atrocious, i didnt bother eating it half the time. It would Not have Been Hard to offer a shower towel, or spare linen. I slept in my own sweat, salt and dirt for 7 days. We also had to pay for all transfers (water taxi, buses etc) even when I saw they were affiliated with Sail Croatia. Don’t get me wrong, I had an amazing week that I will never forget - but it’s the other customers on the boat that have made the trip memorable, not the company Sail Croatia itself. If all 30 people on that boat paid $1700AUD, that is over $50,000 AUD, which you are making every week. And for what? We still had to tip all the staff on the boat After as well because they rely on Tips. Like I said, the people on this trip made it worth it, not the company. Our Standard ships offer shared bathroom facilities, so showering towels are not provided. This gives in-depth information of the amenities to ensure that our advertising accurately represents the accommodations provided. Our higher category ships such as the Premier and VIP Navigator ships provide more space onboard, ensuite bathrooms and AC, so we highly recommend checking this prior to booking your cabin to avoid disappointment. First I want to say the crew was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Also the food was epic. Unfortunately on my ship our rep left after 1 day and we were stranded, the new rep came on and bless her soul she was lovely but not suited to a party boat. The boat I was on as well had one big group of friends who didn't really want to mingle that much with everyone else or actually party much which was annoying. My roommate was also very sick and she got me sick, so I'm angry about that because it's ruined my trip. All the food places we went to were hella expensive and meh, also the clubs were over hyped and too expensive. The drinks on the boat were annoyingly over priced and so we just didn't want to pay those prices to drink a lot. I was recommended this by a friend but unfortunately I will be telling people not to waste their money especially if traveling solo. It was the worst part of my trip so far.

I feel it is very misleading, you pay a lot of money and don’t even get aircon or a toilet or shower in your room. The food was very average and all the extra cost reallt add up. Sail was one of the things I was most excited for but I was so disappointed with it. The bed situation was disgusting, try sleeping in 38 degree weather without aircon!

The people and staff on boat made my experience one of the best weeks of my life the activity’s were so much fun and the islands and towns we went into were beautiful even the group dinners were amazing but the only let down was the rooms on boat I’m not sure if all rooms were like that but to even class it as a room was ridiculous me and my sister could barely walk into our room before hitting the bunk beds, the so called “on suite” we paid extra for was a shower head over the toilet, it was so gross, the pipe works in the bathroom smelt so bad we tried to create airflow by opening the door but then the aircon we paid 50 euro for would turn off as soon as the door opened we had no space to open our suit cases let alone go climb onto the top bunk. After talking to people on board learning what we paid for a room like that I’m so disappointed. this is sail Croatias fault for false advertising you show the big white boat with so much space but that’s not what we got

Quite a few things. The boat was disappointing. It looked nothing like the pictures and when we met people from another navigator boat who paid the same price we found out their boat was as advertised where as ours was not. Our boat was the oldest and was falling apart, the day that it rained, water was leaking through lights. Very concerning. Drinks were more expensive than advertised We also missed out on half of the excursions due to unscheduled changes in the itinerary and missed staying at two locations. We were only made aware this would happen because of weather but this was not the case here. The changes were very sudden and not well communicated and as a result we missed half of the excursions. Quite disappointing. We also found that on some excursions we were charged more than if you booked directly with the company. When we are already paying so much it was very disappointing to find out. The swimming, food and Croatia was beautiful, just unfortunate about the rest.

Upon checking the feedback you submitted, we are pleased to know you would recommend us! However, we are disheartened to hear of your disappointment with some aspects. The boat you were on is advertised on our website and is in the main video for Standard ships. Furthermore, we follow strict Health and Safety procedures and each ship is inspected by the Registry of Shipping and certified each year before the start of the season. Upon checking our internal reports, I couldn't find anything relating to leaks - had we been made aware, this would have been resolved immediately. The drinks prices are estimated only, and up to date prices are available onboard. Our internal reports confirm that all guests were made aware of the slight itinerary change, and the boat had visited all destinations outlined on the itinerary, however Mljet was replaced with Korcula due to port restrictions. Like most travel operators, we include our markup in the overall package to provide a convenient and seamless experience for our guests. We hope that these issues didn't detract from your overall enjoyment.
Had 6 days of rain so more could have been done to organise activities suitable for wet weather instead of them all being cancelled and left stuck on the boat

I had really high expectations going into this trip, as everyone who I’d spoken to around me who’d been on it had said it is one of the best things they have ever done. The first few days were good we didn’t see heaps and didn’t go out to many places as our guides recommendations weren’t great. Then once we got to Dubrovnik it went down hill. Our guide go angry at us for going out to the same club as them, he was miss treating his trainee. Speaking unprofessional and inappropriately to all members of the sail boat, he apologised for his behaviour but then had to apologise a second time in Dubrovnik again for acting in a similar way. I was extremely upset that I had played close to $2000 aud and the person who is meant to be making this trip amazing has not only apologised twice because of his poor behaviour but also given poor recommendations and service. He didn’t even say goodbye on out last day.

I had such an amazing time on my sail but that was due to the awesome guests and friends I made rather than the boat crew or our sail Croatia guide- we all got along great and had a ball together. Our guide lacked confidence and knowledge and we were left to sort ourselves out a lot of time- he was so lovely and came out of his shell eventually but only really spoke to us via What’s App for the first few days. We were super disappointed that some of the key things we were keen on, like the Cave Party or Ziplining, weren’t running. The food quality and prices of drinks vary a lot depending on what boat you’re on - ours we’re minimum €5 for watered down drinks whereas other boats had €2 beers. I also paid more than nearly all of the guests yet had one of the smallest rooms with a broken toilet and constant smell coming up through the pipes. I would definitely do it again but was disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm by our guide and the drink prices compared to people on other boats.

The food on our boat was horrible. There was very little provided for breakfast (usually just bread with butter) and the included lunch was always extremely disappointing (usually soup with bread and some kind of boiled meat). We were all very hungry and there were no snacks provided during the day- we couldn’t bring our own snacks on board and we didn’t dock until the afternoon so there was no option to get off the boat to buy food. The rest of the tour was amazing and I would definitely do it again.

The boat was great and loved Croatia, however the problem was with the organisation and poor communication from staff. There were two trainee guides on board as well and they all clashed with each other. We were promised parties in the middle of the sea with a barbecue when in reality we had an early curfew and this didn’t go ahead at all. Early June was off season for most of the clubs so itinerary was not accurate at all. Swim stops were not communicated so I missed some of them. Croatian staff on board (bartender, captain, cook) were great though.

However, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with some aspects of your cruise. We pride ourselves on having the most knowledgable, friendly and local Representatives. Before the season commences, our Reps go through rigorous training and shadow work, so they are confident prior to their first departure solo. I have checked, and can see that the feedback for the Reps was 4-5 stars. On all our ships we have a midnight curfew which is to ensure those that wish to party on, can do so in the towns - visiting the best local bars and clubs, and those that wish to stay onboard and get an early night, can do so in peace. In early June, most bars and clubs are open to public however, we understand that Covid has caused a slight delay in opening times. Swim stops commence each day and the onboard rep will advise everyone of the daily schedule - I'm sorry to hear you missed some of them. Thank you for your comments on the onboard staff - we will pass this on :-). I'm pleased that overall you enjoyed your time on the boat and in Croatia as a whole.
The website is extremely hard to navigate. On day 1 of our cruise we were told to get off the boat after the meeting time because it wasn’t ready yet. This kind of disorganisation could have been avoided if you had a later meeting time. The price of excursions and drinks was pretty expensive and the fact that there wasn’t organised shuttles for a lot of stops was quite poor. There was a lot of hidden extras that added up. I definitely should have researched my ship more as it was way too party for me. I liked that breakfast and lunch was included everyday, however we didn’t get a lot of free time at most stops. Whilst I’m glad I did it I wouldn’t be doing another sail again. I think navigator is best suited to under 25 party goers. Also you shouldn’t ask people to review on the last day in front of their tour manager. It’s very awkward and not anonymous.

Hi Kieran, thank you for your review. We are continuously improving our customer experience by ensuring our website is easy to navigate. Check-in time onboard is from 10:30am - 12pm, however please note that your boat may not be ready by this time as mentioned in your pre-departure documentation. The boat left promptly at 1pm as scheduled. We do advise that dinners, drinks and excursions are at an additional cost so that you can budget for this, we have prices for drinks and excursions available. We're happy to know you enjoyed the inclusions of breakfasts and lunches. However, are sorry to hear this was too party orientated. Our Navigator cruises are aimed at under 39 year old travellers looking for a more party type cruise. Perhaps the Explorer cruise may be a better option as this has a good balance of socialising, relaxing and exploring. We encourage reviews and feedback to be provided privately, in your own words - we will be investigating further, thank you for making us aware. We were super lucky with the other guests we got on our boat as they are what made our trip the 3 stars instead of a 1. The staff on our boat were so unorganized, uninterested and if I’m being honest just not up to the standard of a premier ship. It didn’t even feel like we had staff on board. Our excretions were either late or not booked and our food was always late and again not up to standard of what I was told I would be getting for premier. We had zero boat parties or group activities organized compared to another sail Croatia boat next to us. Brody who was leading the boat next to us was amazing he tried include us in as many activities as he could but he had his own boat to run. I give full credit to him for trying to include us. I also don’t appreciate people on the boat being messaged by the lead of our boat asking to give her a good review. If you want a good review them be a good boat host!! Definite room for improvement on this premier boat

Great experience and people involved! Loved everything that was provided however paid extra to have an ensuite and be on top deck however the heat in my room was unbearable. It was right next to the engine room, the aircon faced away from the bed and didn’t provide any cooling effect. The bathroom was tiny and hot with the shower head facing the toilet. I didn’t sleep in the room at all and slept on the floor down below deck as the air con was much better down there. I would like to be compensated for the extra money I paid for an ensuite as the room was not liveable.

We have 4 ship types available; Standard, Ensuite, Premier and Premier Plus on our Navigator cruises. I can see that you booked an Ensuite ship which includes ensuite and a fan in your cabin. Air-conditioning is not included on our Ensuite ship, however we are pleased to hear your Captain turned this on in the communal areas downstairs free of charge. Having a look at the ratings for this room for previous departures, the feedback given was 5 stars for the previous two departures. I have confirmation from our Onboard Representative that the fan was in working order in your cabin. I would highly recommend our Premier or Premier Plus ship in future as this includes air-conditioning and more cabin space for added comfort. Thank you again for your feedback.
Lets start with the good experience. Staff onboard the ship Captain, Sailor and Tour guide were fantastic! It is them that makes the trip worth while. On another note, the sales team are terrible with their service. I told them from the beginning I am travelling with my partner and requested a double bed. They said it depends on the availability as first come first serve. When we got onboard, two girls who DID NOT request for a double bed got one and my partner and i got stuck on a bunk bed. There were only 3 couples on the ship. 2 whom got a double bed, except us. I would have been fine with it had we missed out because we booked later and the 3 doubles were already requested. It is upsetting when somebody gets .a room they didnt request and someone who really really wanted it doesnt. The rooms are ridiculously small and most of all there is no air circulation, if you left your door open, you would smell diesel, or others coming back in the early hours from partying. RIDICULOUS!

In all I had a great time on the Split Return - Navigator tour. We chose to go Premier and I was really happy with the boat and accommodation - very clean and spacious. Initially and at times during the week however, I found Sail Croatia staff to be unfriendly and rude. There were times staff burst in on our cabin which I found to be an invasion of privacy. Food was generally okay - would be good to have a menu provided for the week. The onboard BBQ was a highlight though - the food was great!! Should also not that the vast majority of passengers are from Australia (32 of 36 passengers on my boat) - obviously not an issue, just a slight surprise!

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your time on our Navigator cruise, the accommodation and found the food to be a highlight! However, we are really disappointed to hear that some of the staff were unprofessional at times. This will be passed on to the Operations Manager - thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our cruises are popular with Antipodeans as well as travellers from other parts of the world. Sounds as though your cruise and departure date was well sought after my our Australian travellers😊.
Whilst we enjoyed our trip we did feel there was a lot of emphasis around getting drunk and staying on the boat rather than going and seeing the beautiful sights of Croatia. We were disappointed we the group dinners, one example being Korcula - we were rushed through the old town within 10 minutes to be taken to a very basic restaurant in a shopping mall! I understand sail Croatia had partners and is trying to ensure everything is affordable for everyone however I think they could do a bit better than that!

We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your trip and found that travelling by sea is the best way to see Croatia, however we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with some aspects of the cruise. Our Navigator cruises are our most sociable cruise types aimed at 18-35 year old travellers. In saying this, each of our guests have the choice to partake in all the optional activities during the week, from excursions and day tours, to dinners and club visits. Some of our guests prefer to do their own thing and find a cosy restaurant or bar to enjoy meals/drinks - once you arrive into each town you can spend this time as you wish 😊. There is a fully licensed bar onboard each of our ships where guests are welcome to purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Drinks are not allowed to be brought onto the boat from outside sources for the safety and wellbeing of our guests. Upon checking our feedback, we are pleased to see you rated the Crew, Meals and Cleanliness all 5-stars, thank you.
When booking the sail I informed them about our dietary requirements when on the boat the staff had no idea about my dietary requirements. The staff were very helpful and accommodated to me but I think it is very poor communication from the sales staff who we booked through to the staff on the ship.

The trip was amazing. The only suggestions I would make would be to have more chances to do optional activities. Most of the activities we signed up for ended up not going ahead due to not enough people signing up . The Tarin crew and Zach were amazing and really made the trip that much better.

Get a captain that actually likes young people seeing as it is a cruise for youth and partying. Staff members should be happy and willing to serve us on the boat, not treat it like its a hassle. When major stops are missed, equal opportunities or activities should be planned instead rather than wasting days at the same ports. The trip was disappointing.

Thank you for your review. The captain and ship have sailed our Navigator cruises for several years, so we are disappointed to read your comments. Having a look through our rigorous reports, I can see that in Korcula the ship experience an electrical failure in the morning and was repaired by midday - this resulting in the ship missing out on Mljet. Your representative had organised a walk through the city in Korcula and as a gesture all guests onboard received a free BBQ. We hope that you enjoyed other aspects of the cruise and we thank you again.

Thank you for your review. There are a couple of points in your review that I just need to clarify for other travellers considering booking with us. We are sorry to hear of the issues mentioned. We have a very rigorous process in place for handling any such issues that may arise, and we will effectively resolve these immediately if we are made aware of the situation. Upon checking our reports, I cannot find any incident being raised regarding the bathroom, wifi, fans and electricity. In saying this, we will be raising these points to the Operations Manager for future improvements . Having a look at the feedback provided, we thank you for giving us 5-stars for your cabin overall and would recommend us to others, thank you. We hope these issues didn't detract from your overall experience.
We had rooms on the lower deck of the boat. There was constant smells of petrol in these cabins (even worse when it was rough seas because the boat motor was working even harder) ... it actually was a huge health and safe issue with it being so much gas at one point I had to go upstairs to get air because I felt so dizzy. There was not a running air conditioning( or air vents anywhere) that allowed for fresh air to be pumped into these cabins so it was really not a great experience to sleep/ stay on board. This wouldn’t be acceptable in Australia or New Zealand, as of the health and safety risks here but because it is Croatia this slipped by. Really not up to standards.

Following this process gives us the opportunity to try and resolve an issue during the trip, and work with you in finding a suitable solution to ensure all parties are happy, if given this opportunity. Looking through our internal reports, we cannot find any record of your dissatisfaction with your cabin, nor have there been any incidents raised for such issues on your ship this season. As you had booked our Ensuite ship, there is a port hole in your cabin for extra ventilation. Air-conditioning is not included on this particular ship type, however we recommend our Premier ships for this amenity. We are pleased to know that your travel companion found all services on this cruise to be of high standards, with ratings of 4-5 stars. We hope that these issues didn't detract from your overall experience and again, we thank you for all your comments.
Sail did not exceed my expectations. There were far too many girls on board and it was a mess upon arrival with our towels stained. Our speakers were too quiet with none on the top deck - where everyone sat. The guide Zac did an amazing job with including each guest and ensuring everyone was happy. Not only was he professional and had great knowledge but was also considered a friend among the guests - who went above and beyond to help us create life long memories. The crew did a great job at making the guests feel uncomfortable. It was clear that they didn’t like Zac (as they had openly said to other guests). The bartender said that she wanted to get him kicked off the boat. Alena lied to us about the price of the bell shots compared to other boats, and spread false and inappropriate rumours about fellow guests and Zac around the boat. I’ve never experienced a tour-guide to put as much effort into his job like Zac, who excelled in high pressure situations with a large number of guests

The tour manager was great (zac) he was friendly, Informative and extremely caring for us and always went to extreme lengths to make sure we were okay by the end of the trip it really felt like we had all formed a special bond with him - it was really upsetting to see the crew on board treat him poorly and act in a racist manner making his job 20x harder. They crew were not welcoming to him and did not treat him as a part of the team which as guests we could see it dampened his mood however he still kept his high spirits to ensure we were having the best time - i really enjoyed my time on the boat but honestly the only let down was the crew - the captain was rude and the bar tender was only out to harm the tour guide (hiding his ipad, his tip jar and telling guest that ringing the bell was the same price on all boats) - the rooms needed to be cleaned lightly and we should of been offered fresh towels

Zac really made our experience 100 times better. He went above and beyond to give us as much info on the town as possible. He helped the group intergrade very easily with his down to earth, friendly personality. I found many times the crew to be working against Zac, and while he was doing the best job possible they did not seem to be cooperating with him and this made his job a lot harder then it needed to be. Many times I found the crew to be unprofessional, spreading information relating to Zac which was untrue and created an unhealthy environment for guests to interact. The captain was not very interactive with the guests. Our belongings were chucked in the bin before we had even exited the boat without any prior warning. We had a large group of 42 guests but Zac did an amazing job to create such a good atmosphere and resolve any incidents as quickly as they arose. If it wasn’t for Zac our time on the boat would Not be the same and I can’t thank him enough for the memories made :)

Wouldn’t recommend for people over 27, sailing croatia team did not keep in mind that we are 30 and putting us with a group that was 22 and younger .... big age difference.

The boat was not equal genders which effected the vibe. The tour leader could have been a lot better and overall it just wasn't as fun as we expected

We always aim to get a good mix of travellers on all our boats, taking into consideration age, nationality, gender and group makeup - couples, singles and groups of friends. However the makeup of the boat is heavily reliant on who has booked. This particular week we had more females than males book on your cruise across all boat. Absolutely loved Sail Croatia. Would highly recommend the Navigator Cruise for anyone who likes to party and wants to make some new friends! The rooms were spacious and the food was good. 10/10

Although the cruise was lovely and we explored some fantastic water and towns - for the price we paid 8 couldn't help being a little disappointed. We were not given 1 litre of water per day as promised and instead had to use individual cups from a water dispenser. Fresh towels also should have been provided in order to maintain better hygiene - our boat had an outbreak of gastro. All in all, a fun experience but definitely some room for improvement. Our crew was great as was our leader.

We thank you for your comments on the water and towels, we no longer provide 1 litre bottles of water, instead we provide unlimited access to a water cooler that is accessible to use during salon opening hours. Upon request, the crew will be more than happy to change your towel for you. We are pleased that overall, you enjoyed your time on the cruise and in Croatia as a whole.
I was very disappointed in this your due to the fact that I was combined with a very large group who had booked together and further, several older couples. I am a young solo traveller and was not put with other like minded individuals. The group I was put with seemed to be more like an explorer group and even though Nagivators are designed for 18-35 year olds there were people on board that were much older. This did not make my time fun at all. Further, I feel it was selfish for sail Croatia to place such a combination of people together, given that I had paid so much for the trip. I will not be booking with sail Croatia ever again.

We have had a look into this for you and can see that we had a good mix of couples, groups of friends and 6x single travellers on-board your boat - with most travellers aged from mid-late 20s. We see that you also had a friend book on your boat - and we hope they enjoyed their cruise also. We always aim to get a good mix of guests on our boats, taking into consideration age, nationality, gender, solo travellers, couples and groups. However, this heavily depends on who has booked. We hope you enjoyed Croatia as a whole and we thank you for providing feedback.
Be specific about what extras are offered for your sail. We wanted to do zip lining and i had previously emailed sail croatia to ensure we would have a chance to do it. Get on our boat and ask first day to be told not in our itinerary which was disappointing. We asked again if we would have time and were told no. We rearranged our trip back from dubrovnik to zagreb and when we stopped in omis and did the zip lining we would have definately been able to complete this in time before the boat departed omis. Other than that. Trip was great.

We see that you also enquired about this prior to your cruise and we confirmed this was an option. Had a great time, however, the ratio of girls to guys was way too unbalanced on our boat, we were 28 girls and 5 guys, where 14 of those girls came as a group and kept to themselves most of the time. This limited group socialising. And then hearing about other boats who were having so much more fun as their group socialised more. Was a great cruise, make some cool friends nonetheless.

Thank you for your feedback on our Navigator Dubrovnik to Split cruise. It's great to hear you had a good time on this cruise and made some new friends. We always aim to get a good balance on-board all our boats taking into consideration age, gender, nationality, group makeup - friends, solo travellers and couples. However, at times this is not possible as it heavily depends on who has booked what boat. We would like all our guests to socialise with other groups on-board, but it is down to the individual. In saying this, we had several boats on this route which hopefully provided you with a more sociable atmosphere in being able to mingle with travellers from other boats. Thanks again for your feedback.
We have a few negative issues; 1. They should have a different system in placed for the way drinks would be tallied up. 2. We had a wonderful leader but the way she was treated by others on our boat, was uncalled for. The other crew members ie Captain should have intervened when abusive/threatening language was used at the leader.
