People planning a Croatia sailing holiday this year have been told that they can look forward to experiencing
something "really special".Karen Rockett wrote an article for the Daily Mirror after paying a visit to the Elafiti islands of Sipan, Lopud and Kolacep, which are located just off the coast of Dubrovnik. The writer described this small group of isles as a "great place to start" for people planning to explore the thousands of kilometres of coastline and "myriad islands" on offer to Adriatic cruise passengers. Sipan is the largest of the inhabited Elafiti islands but still feels "way off the tourist track", according to Ms Rockett. She visited some of the destination's small villages during her trip and recommended a bike ride through the countryside. The Daily Mirrorwriter then visited Lopud before returning to Dubrovnik - a highly popular Croatia sailing holiday destination which she described as "truly beautiful" - before ending her break with an excursion to Kolacep. ![]() |
