| Croatia cycle holidays: More Brits going online to book |

Britons planning Croatia cycle holidays and other overseas breaks this year are becoming increasingly likely to arrange their trips online,
according to research.A survey by IMRG and eDigitalResearch found that nearly half (48 per cent) of people are more likely to use the internet to find the best deals in an attempt to save money over the coming months. One in four respondents to the poll said they are hoping to cut their spending on Croatia holidays and other breaks by up to 50 per cent in 2010. David Smith, director of operations at IMRG, said: "This marks a shift in consumer purchasing behaviour as more people are swayed by better holiday deals online and are less likely to plan so far in advance." He added: "With another tough year ahead for travel, it is important that companies capture the growing online bookings market with better deals and a better user experience." Travellers can book Croatia sail and cycle holidays online and arrange additional activities such as scuba diving trips and walking tours. ![]() |
