People living in northern England who are planning to treat themselves to a Croatia holiday next year can
book their flights early with Jet2.The airline announced that it was putting part of its network from Newcastle airport on sale for summer 2010, allowing travellers to book direct flights to the city of Split. Travellers considering Croatia sailing holidays can fly to Split to set off on a cruise that takes in destinations such as Makarska, Dubrovnik and Hvar. Split will be one of many destinations that Jet2 will serve from Newcastle airport next year as it undergoes a major expansion at the hub. Airline boss Philip Meeson said: "We believe we are developing a real understanding of what the people of the north-east want from their holidays - fantastic leisure destinations, low fares and a friendly service." Britons planning Croatia sailing holidays and other breaks in the country this year have the option of catching flights to Dubrovnik from Manchester and Leeds with Jet2. ![]() |
