The tourist board representing Dubrovnik, a destination that travellers can visit during Croatia sailing holidays, has celebrated the
recent recognition of the city by British Airways (BA).Dubrovnik is one of the ten most attractive locations for holidaymakers to visit in 2010, the airline said. According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, BA's prediction of the top ten travel hotspots "drew the attention of the world's media". The airline listed a number of aspects of the city that people can experience during their Croatia sailing holidays, including its regular events and the appeal that it has for Hollywood movie stars. Other destinations on the BA list include Stockholm and Istanbul, as well as Cape Town, which will be one of the host cities for the 2010 World Cup. Dubrovnik cruises also provide the opportunity to visit some of the scenic islands located near the city, such as Mljet, Korcula and Lastovo. ![]() |
